Goldy Goldens are passionate about providing an ethical and honest program that creates a community of dogs and their owners. Goldy Goldens breed for the protection of these Pure Bred dogs and their owners experience!  

We believe you are inheriting these dogs as a gift, the gift of unconditional love and connection. A truly magical connection that all dog owners deserve to experience and hopefully cherish. 

 We strive to provide the best care, lifestyle and facilities for our breeding family. The dogs health is Number One on the list of importance as we want our puppy's to thrive in the world, live a long, happy and healthy life. The dogs health can put massive stress on the family or individual with large Vet Bill's. With strict testing regimes we aim to alleviate the potential of all known genetic defects that both breeds can carry. We want our buyers to feel connected to us and that they are apart of something special.  Our experience with both of these breeds has convinced us that every dog lover should have the same experience at least once in their lifetime!

Here is a brief story of why we fell in love with these breeds and decided to become breeders of these amazing Canines. Ryan grew up with Retrievers from a young age and experienced the companionship and unconditional love that they offer in abundance. These dogs taught lessons in patience, responsibility and the rewards in building a relationship filled with trust and love. What motivated him to become a breeder was actually seeing a poorly managed breeding program through a family that he worked for, they managed the animals living space poorly, they had disregard for any ethical practice and that motivated the start of the Goldy Goldens program, a mission to do it the right way! Ryan is qualified in Veterinary Nursing, Specialising in Canine Reproduction and is passionate about continuing the pure bred evolution of these amazing dogs. Sarah and is a practicing pharmacist on the Gold Coast and works at a Pet Chemist dispensing animal medicine. She originally studied Veterinary Science due to her love for animals before changing to pharmacy. Together Ryan and Sarah strive to give all their knowledge, understanding and love to the dogs and the program. 

Goldy Goldens recognise the impact these dogs can have in their community. Whether its volunteering for Children with disability, guide dog/therapy dog programs and elderly or sick home visits. We strive to give back where we can. These are some of the most fulfilling parts of the program so please follow our socials to see the magic in these moments!
